Very friendly staff, clean facility, and there is a convenient store on location

The room was terrible. It was advertised as a “Gardenview” which was a lie. It was next to a parking lot. It was very uncomfortable to have cars parked next to us right outside our door. In addition, the room was so hot and the only way to cool it down was to open the door, which was right next to the parking lot so obviously that made us feel unsafe. The conditions were so uncomfortable that we left early even though we had already paid for one more night. We felt so much better once we just went to another hotel.

What was the highlight of Ocean Square Resort

Facilities alright, but don't expect any service.

The location was nice enough. The bathroom had a shower area separated from the toilet and sink, which was great. The water pressure was good. There was a convenience store below, which was quite handy. We didn't have a rental car, which I do recommend in this location, but we got around fine on public transport and sometimes taxi.

It's meant to be a non-smoking facility, but when we came into our room, it stank of cigarette smoke. The towels were all a bit musty smelling, as if they don't get properly aired or dried. The garden that was the feature of this garden view room, was a dismal and badly mowed patch of grass next to the parking lot in front of our window. The staff was not service orientated at all, or willing to help us non-Korean speaking tourists. The girl at the convenience shop was not interested in her job or the customers, all she did was sit with her eyes glued to her phone. There were no english instructions in the laundry and when we couldn't get the washing machine to work the man at reception was very reluctant to come and help. I understand there is a difference in culture, but I do feel that if these people want to market their accomodation to an english speaking market as on booking.com, they should at least speak a little more english than they do, or at least be a bit more helpful to other language speaking tourists.

A hotel suited for travelers looking for an overnight stop.

The room was clean and provided the usual basic facilities. The bed was comfortable. On-site, outdoor parking was available off-street and free. Staff were polite.

This hotel has perhaps seen better times, it felt a little run down. The picture on Booking.com didn't match my experience. The reception has relocated to the 7-Eleven convenience store attached to the hotel. I had to phone the Hotel from reception to find this out. There is very little located nearby; no beaches, shops or sights of interest. The restaurant located 350m away claimed to have closed 5 minutes before my arrival at 7:05pm leaving the 7-eleven as the only other option for dinner. I requested a quiet room but was given a room next to the pool where children enjoyed the facility until mid-evening and again early morning.
